Inside the brain: how VitaMatrix builds your plan
Retrieve, reason, enforce. Our AI proposes — a deterministic safety layer disposes.
Not a black box
VitaMatrix isn't a from-scratch machine-learning model that spits out a stack from a mystery process. It's a transparent, three-step engine: it retrieves the relevant science for your profile, reasons over only that evidence, and then runs every recommendation through a deterministic safety layer.
Step 1 — Retrieve
Starting from your health assessment, the engine pulls candidate ingredients and the evidence behind them from a curated, clinically-reviewed knowledge base. The AI only ever reasons over what we retrieved — so it can't invent a supplement or fabricate a citation.
Step 2 — Reason
The model drafts a personalized plan: what to take, the dose, the timing, and the rationale — each item tagged with how strong the evidence is. It considers nutrient synergies, bioavailability, and your stated goals and constraints.
Step 3 — Enforce
Finally, a deterministic safety layer checks every proposed item against interactions, contraindications, maximum doses, and age/pregnancy/medication flags. It can cap a dose, drop an item, or route you to a provider. The model proposes; safety disposes — and safety always has the last word.
